What is the difference between StrategyQuant nad AlgoCloud?

AlgoCloud is cloud trading platform which makes it simple to create new strategies using a drag & drop editor, and then trading them live on real or demo account through your broker. It has an unique Stockpicker engine that allows trading groups of strategies, like whole S&P 500 or Russel 2000 index, as well as individual stocks.

StrategyQuant X (SQX) is a desktop software that uses machine learning to automaticaly generate new trading strategies for any market and timeframe. It supports also AlgoCloud's Stockpicker and single-symbol engines. Strategies developed on these two engines in SQX can be then loaded into AlgoCloud.

What markets can I trade with AlgoCloud?

AlgoCloud currently supports US equities and ETFs on a daily timeframe. The exact offer of stocks and ETFs depend also on the connected broker.

Can AlgoCloud be used for other assets than equities?

No, AlgoCloud is targeted to equities and we don't plan to support other assets in short term.

How are my strategies protected?

Strategies you create on AlgoCloud are your own and we take your intellectual property seriously:
- trading strategies are stored encrypted per user
- we employ a variety of security technologies and procedures designed to help prevent unauthorized disclosure of, access to and use of information that you have on AlgoCloud.
- you are also strongly advised to use Two-Factor Authentication for login.

Which brokers do you support?

We fully support Alpaca.markets, which is a commission-free US based broker.
We are working on connections for other brokers, support for Interactive Brokers and XTB is in BETA mode. 

Do you plan to support other brokers?

We are already working on fully supporting XTB and Interactive Brokers. We want to extend our support to more brokers, so yes, we will be adding more broker connections in the future. If you have a particular broker you'd like to support let us know using the contact form.

Do you plan to support other timeframes (intraday) or other stock exchanges?

Not right now, but it is a possibility in the future.
